    Jim Hiller

    Jim’s experience includes more than 30 years of comprehensive environment, health and safety administration and consultation. As the former Director of Environmental Health and Safety for a major automotive component manufacturer, his experience covers a broad range of industrial processes and stressors in manufacturing, R&D, and distribution environments. He has also developed, instituted and measured the effectiveness of compliance and assurance programs on global platforms. Jim has also spent several years in the chemical industry, specifically in coatings and film conversion, acting as an EH&S Coordinator. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and sits on the Board of Delegates for the National Safety Council.

  • Glenn Reynolds Industry Sector Leader - Canada
    Glenn Reynolds

    Glenn is a Principal Hydrogeologist, Professional Geoscientist and SLR’s Industry Sector Leader for Canada. With 40+ years of consulting experience, Glenn specialises in investigations of groundwater, soil vapour, surface water, soil and non-aqueous phase contamination plus regulatory negotiations, litigation support, approvals, permitting and stakeholder consultation. Glenn has extensive experience managing and leading large multidisciplinary projects as well as developing innovative, strategic approaches to assessments, approvals and remediation for contaminated sites.

    Paul Wright

    Paul’s previous experience as NRW Industry Regulation Team Leader for North and Mid Wales gives him unrivalled insight into the requirements of environmental permitting and compliance, and in particular, knowledge of how the approach to engagement and improvement can influence the natured timing of Regulator actions. This is complemented by a detailed understanding of industrial business operations gained through over 20 years’ experience of operational and technical management of various sites across a range of industrial sectors.

    Patrick Quinlan

    Patrick has an extensive range of experience as a Town Planner / Project Manager specialising in the management and delivery of projects across multiple sectors. Patrick has been instrumental in providing planning, feasibility analysis and due diligence advice in the early stages of a project in preparation of business cases that support highest and best use. He is highly experienced in the full development project cycle.

    Patrick has extensive knowledge and skills around the development approval processes and has proven to excel in the delivery of projects with experienced roles managing the design and co-ordination of consultant disciplines. Patrick is highly competent in the design procurement phases of projects with a keen focus on stakeholder engagement.

    Rob Hounsome

    Rob is SLR’s African Regional Manager and has more than 25 years’ experience as a leader responsible for consultancy teams across diverse engineering and scientific disciplines in multiple locations.  In addition to his leadership roles, Rob has extensive experience in undertaking complex Environmental and Social Assessments, Due Diligence studies and fulfilling Environmental Technical Advisor roles for projects in their developmental or operational phases.  His global experience includes leadership and project delivery in more than 30 countries mainly in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.  He has particular technical expertise is in the Industrial, Energy and Mining sectors and has led teams focused on the Infrastructure and Built Environment markets.

  • Rod Masters Technical Director
    Rod Masters

    Rod has 35 years’ experience in undertaking soil surveys, formulating erosion and sediment control plans, conducting land reclamation and revegetation programs, preparing water management plans and assessing environmental impact of industrial developments. He is a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS Stage 3) and a Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC). Having fulfilled the roles of extension officer, regulator, consultant and contractor, Rod is in the unique position of having an intimate knowledge and understanding of soil and water management issues within a variety of industries.
