North Slope Development Permitting
A global oil company, is proposing development of hydrocarbon deposits from its oil and gas leasehold on the Alaska North Slope. The proposed Nanushuk Project will include; three gravel pads for drilling and production support facilities, processing facilities and operations center, gravel access roads and a 14-mile-long pipeline to existing infrastructure.
- Compiled all necessary meteorological and air quality baseline data for environmental evaluation document (EED) prepared for NEPA review.
- Prepared project and cumulative air quality impact analysis, including air dispersion modeling, presented in documents for NEPA review.
- Worked closely with project engineering team to ensure the project design was consistent with air quality permitting and federal regulatory requirements.
- Prepared oil spill prevention and response information, including oil spill risk analysis, presented in documents for NEPA review.
