Andrew Greene
Manager of Water Resource Engineering
From an early age, Andie was drawn to engineering and construction due to the influence of his father and uncle, which translated to summer employment building houses while still in high school. He has a broad range of engineering experience that spans from urban infrastructure design to general civil site development. As Manager of Natural Resources Engineering, Andie leads the design efforts for river restoration, dam removal, and fish passage projects. He also brings a wealth of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, and dam engineering.

Roy Schiff
Principal Water Resource Engineer
Roy is a Water Resource Scientist and Engineer whose practice focuses on hydrology, hydraulics, sediment transport, floodplains, channel restoration, and transportation resilience. He has been involved in several research projects across Vermont and the region, evaluating the economic impacts of living in floodplains, drafting best engineering practices to reduce future flood risks, improving protocols for habitat assessment, and creating guidelines for channel restoration. Roy was drawn to this industry because of an early and continued love of fishing and being by the river, and in his role he most values the opportunity to help communities in tough situations solve problems.

Jessica Louisos
Senior Water Resources Engineer
Jessica is a Senior Water Resources Engineer specialising in geomorphological and bio-engineering designs for riverine systems and watersheds. She has designed numerous river restoration, dam removal, storm water mitigation and green infrastructure, flood mitigation and recovery, bank and gully stabilisation, culvert, bridge scour, and aquatic organism passage projects. She has managed projects and performed tasks at all project stages including project scoping, field data collection, modelling, design, permitting, cost estimating, and construction oversight for many projects. Jessica has broad field experience in geomorphic and habitat assessment, stormwater master planning, and construction observation. She has advanced river and watershed modelling experience including multiple hydrology models and one- and two-dimensional hydraulic modelling to inform flood mitigation, bridge scour and design, and restoration projects. Jessica was awarded the 2013 Vermont State Young Engineer of the Year Award.

Mark Carabetta
Principal Environmental Scientist
Mark has been working in the field of environmental science, conservation and ecological restoration for over 25 years, specialising in the science of wetlands and rivers. His expertise is in wetland and river evaluation, geomorphic assessment, ecological restoration, regulatory permitting, natural community classification, and hydrology. He is a Professional Wetland Scientist and Certified Floodplain Manager. Mark lives with his family in New York’s Hudson River Valley.
