  • Mark Trevor Principal Geologist
    Mark Trevor

    Mark is a Professional Geologist in California, USA, with over 18 years of experience in the environmental field, ranging from watershed assessment for the timber industry, to remedial oversight and project management on contaminated soil and groundwater sites for industrial, commercial and residential clients.

    He has conducted technical environmental and hydrogeologic investigations including seep detection and management, drilling and test-pitting for Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) reporting, and remediation oversight and documentation. Mark has also assumed project management responsibilities for various PCE, VOC and petroleum hydrocarbon release sites in Northern California; conducted hydrogeologic investigations for landfill and mining clients; overseen naturally-occurring asbestos (NOA) remediation for a school sites and overseen field operations for several large soil and groundwater remediation projects.

    Among his current projects, Mark manages hydrogeologic operations for a Class I hazardous waste leachate extraction well field and provides evaluations for the short and long term maintenance of the site.

    Bret Berglund

    Mr. Berglund has over 25 years of experience in environmental studies, remediation, and regulatory compliance. His work focuses on site investigations, baseline studies, environmental cleanup, and waste management. Mr. Berglund has also completed studies of hydrogeology, coastal erosion and sediment transport. He has managed multi-disciplinary staff and subcontractors on large and complex projects exceeding 10 million dollars.

    Scott Bristol

    Scott is a Licenced Environmental Professional (LEP) and a Professional Geologist (PG), and he has nearly 32 years of experience to help our clients find the most direct and cost-effective solutions to their environmental problems. One way in which he does this is to use his knowledge of industrial processes and practices to allow our staff to put themselves in their clients' shoes and truly understand the specific challenges they face. His work on abandoned industrial and brownfield sites helps feed his interest in the industrial history of Connecticut and the United States.

    Luke Evans

    Luke has over 37 years of experience, including 26 years with SLR where he currently leads a team of more than 25 geologists.  He has authored and supervised the preparation of dozens of NI 43-101 reports on most commodities worldwide.  He has presented papers and short courses on resource estimation best practices, audits, pitfalls, and other topics.
